General information
METAS dynamic rail wagon scales are designed for weighing by wagon or axle mass during the movement of empty and loaded wagons in a train without uncoupling, as well as for weighing trains in general with dry bulk, solid, and liquid cargo at speeds up to 90 km/h.
The innovative design of the load-receiving device based on unique rail-type sensors ensures perfect integration of weighing equipment into the existing railway track. Scales that do not require a foundation and are installed on a crushed stone base in 1 day.

The load-receiving device of the wagon scales is a P65 rail with a length of 9 (m) with built-in weight-measuring strain gauge sensors.
The scales consist of a load-receiving device (hereinafter referred to as the RPD), made in the form of parallel sections of rails, combined into a platform with four rail-type strain gauge sensors (hereinafter referred to as the sensor), built-in two per rail section. The RPD includes from one to eight platforms.
The scales also include access roads adjacent to and located on both sides of the runway. When measuring the static mass, all axles of the weighed wagon must be in the weighing zone.
The sensors are connected using an analog data processing device (hereinafter referred to as the POAD) – the TenzoADC-4CH weighing device to a software and hardware complex based on a personal computer or controller. The PTK provides data processing, weighing process control, and display/registration of measurement results and includes the software “ARM “Wagon Scales”.
The POAD is located in a protective box near the scales or on the platform on which the scale runway is located.

Train control system – designed for visual monitoring of the condition of cars and trains, automated detection and recording of malfunctions and violations that threaten traffic safety.
The system allows:

- automatically detect cases of violation of wagon dimensions, and technical conditions for placing and securing cargo;
- monitor the safety of transported cargo;
- conduct video recording of warehouse passage with the ability to create a video archive and print images;
- collect, process, store, and document information about warehouses.
The functionality of the system can be expanded depending on the tasks set by integrating wagon scales, thermal imagers, as well as comprehensive solutions for monitoring the departure of rolling stock.
