The modernization of the car scale can be with or without the extension of the weighing platform.
During modernization, the lever system of mechanical car scales is dismantled and replaced by strain gauges, on which the loading platform is installed. Strain gauges are connected to the junction box, then the signal is sent to the weight indicator. Often, automotive mechanical scales have a platform length of 12 meters and a maximum weighing limit of 30 or 40 tons. Modernization allows you to extend the platform up to 18 or 20 meters with a maximum weighing limit of 80 tons.
