Modernization of mechanical scales into electronic ones is the cheapest and fastest way for the customer to purchase modern accurate electronic equipment. The process of modernization of mechanical scales includes the examination of the condition and suitability of mechanical scales for modernization; formation of the technical task; supply of necessary equipment; dismantling of the lever system and installation of new equipment; adjustment works; calibration and State verification.
During modernization, the lever system of mechanical wagon scales is dismantled and replaced by strain gauges, on which the loading platform or platforms are installed. Strain gauges are connected to the junction box, then the signal is sent to the weight indicator. The height of the sensor with the installation unit is significantly less than the height of the corresponding mechanical units of the levers, therefore, in order to install the strain gauges, it is necessary to raise the supporting platforms above the existing level, that is, to “build up” the existing concrete supports of the foundation.
