General information


An improved modification of the classic METROVES MV-…SD carriage scales, designed for static and dynamic weighing at speeds from 3 to 12 km/h, with and without uncoupling, empty and loaded carriages of any model, including tanks with liquid cargo. The scales do not require a foundation and are installed on a crushed stone base. Easily dismantled and installed at a new place of operation within 1 day!

  • A load receiving module (LM) is a concrete-metal structure consisting of interconnected parts on which rails are placed. The VM consists of a weighing platform resting on the installation units of strain gauge sensors located in the corners and, in turn, resting on a concrete or crushed stone base. The VM has an increased supporting area relative to existing under-rail substrates, correspondingly greater rigidity compared to the sleeper under-rail substrate, and a lower intensity of accumulation of residual deformations.

    The scales are equipped with an individual anti-bending system.

    The use of an anti-piston system on the scales ensures the stability of the gaps between the rails on the scales and the rails of the approach track.

    The original system of protection against sudden braking.

    Limits the movement of the weighing platform within the base of the scale and ensures quick settling during weighing. The design of our stabilizers does not require adjustment during operation and also eliminates the longitudinal and transverse removal of load-receiving platforms when passing and braking cars.

    The design of the scale prevents moisture and dirt from getting under the weighing platform.

    In the event of moisture penetration and condensation formation, water is drained through a piping system beyond the base of the scales. Also, a rubber T-shaped cover is installed around the perimeter of the scales, providing reliable protection against foreign objects getting inside the scales.
